PLACES I FREQUENT IN THE CITY:
Village Discount Outlet is almost a daily stop for me. I own a side biz called @lbfinds on instagram selling vintage decor, and although it’s a a struggle to look through…it’s often worth it!
Leghorn Chicken, oh sweet Jesus Leghorn Chicken. Cannot get enough of that hot popcorn chicken. It’s dangerously close to our office!
Montrose Harbor is my calming space in the city. There’s nothing I love more than going there by myself on a weekday to tune out and stare at sailboats.
Half Acre Balmoral is one of my favorite new spots this year. So close to my condo, and the Half Acre staff is always so great!
WHAT YOU LOVE TO DO OUTSIDE OF CHICAGO:
Visit my home away from home Vancouver. I lived there for a short time, and have the BEST group of friends there.
Spend Sunday’s at Kane County Flea Market. I find the best items for @lbfinds there and it helps that my bestie and her family live a few miles away now.
Visit my favorite place in the world Camp Wandawega in Elkhorn, WI. That place is magical in every way!
In a perfect life I would drink an Iced Turbo Coffee from Jo’s Coffee in Austin, Texas everyday. SO GOOD (and that ice!)
SITES I LOVE:
madewell.com. The addiction for boxy tops and high waist jeans is strong.
apartmenttherapy.com Always great inspiration! Check out my home tour a few years back.
schoolhouseelectric.com I would love to move into their store in Portland.
people.com I can’t help it. Celebrity gossip is just too good.
THINGS TO DO WITH OUT-OF-TOWN VISITORS:
Always @antiquetaco. My good friends are the owners, and not one out of towner has been disappointed!
Deep Dish @pequods. It kills me when tourist think Giordano’s or Lou Malnati’s is the only pizza in Chicago.
Sailboat ride on Lake Michigan. There’s some decent booking deals in the summer that my college friends and I love to take advantage of.
Cubs Games. There really isn’t a better Chicago experience in the summer than a Saturday afternoon at Wrigley.

Cliff, in his own words:
“Where do you think you're going? Nobody's leaving. Nobody's walking out on this fun, old-fashioned family Christmas. No, no! We're all in this together. This is a full-blown, four-alarm holiday emergency here! We're gonna press on, and we're gonna have the hap, hap, happiest Christmas since Bing Crosby tap-danced with Danny Kaye! And when Santa squeezes his fat white butt down that chimney tonight, he's gonna find the jolliest bunch of a**h***s this side of the nuthouse!”
