Mobile Retail Experience

The Ask: Create a double decker mobile retail experience to allow NBA fans from across the country to shop, share and be entertained. I don’t think any of us hesitated when agreeing to tackle this challenge for the Dallas Mavericks.

Last summer, our team sourced a double decker bus to completely gut and rehab from the ground up. We transformed the bus into a Dallas Mavericks pop up swag shop with an entertainment deck on top. Complete with real wood flooring panels from the Mavs’ 2011 championship season that our production team hand placed to cover the ground level, custom clothing shelves, flatscreen displays, benches and customized seat covers - a lot of hard work and sweat went into this build.

After it was complete, the Mav’s were able to bring their shop to the Texas State Fair along with other summer events to follow, allowing fans to shop their favorite team’s gear in any location! Fair-goers took a break from the long day on the entertainment deck while a live DJ performed under the shade of the coverings. What more could you want from a double decker experience?!
